Asia's Amped to Blow Up Any Moment Now....

Anyone thinking that it's only the Middle East that is dangerous hasn't been studying the East Asian region this past decade. China's surge to regional and global power status has complicated matters over there, and has created a struggle between itself and the economic giant of Japan. Add into that the tension between Japan and North Korea, and between North and South Korea, and China and Taiwan, and finally between Russia and Japan, and you have all the makings of a tinderbox waiting to burst into flames. Things are further complicated by issues still existing because of World War II and the Cold War, and finally, the United States' involvement in the region. This is is an issue that is growing worse and sending mixed signals to the region by the Obama Administration isn't helping matters. If Japan decides to act in its national interests against North Korean moves, the world may suddenly be forced to do something that its been putting off for 50 years now.
